C02 tanks refill vs swap
It's time for me to refill my bottle. Can't really tell you size (lb) it is. It stands about 23". Anyway, will I have to swap it or will the company refill it for me? I bought it new and it's all nice and shiny. It doesn't fit under my tank so it's quite visible.
I also want to replace my regulator for a 2-stage. Do you have a cheaper source than GL?
Why won't the regulators for welding bottles work or will they. They can handle lower pressure. Shouldn't that prevent a dump?

There is a paintball shop near the Frederick airport that will refill CO2 too. However my 10lb tank had a black handle that blocked the refil attachment, so it didn't work out for me, but if you have a tank wthout any obstrutions, the they should be able to fill you tank.

I've been able to get roberts to refill my bottle, but that might not happen at all locations. Paintball shops and beverage/restaurant suppliers are options too if you're looking.
I got my regulator on ebay as well, not sure the source, but its a Milwaukee. Haven't had any issues with it other than the loose nut behind the wrench (me).

It is not murder if you're killing snails.

Holy cow, I had no idea there was a CO2 refill place so close to me! I've been going down to Laurel Bottled Gas. Thanks for the tip, Jim!Jim Miller wrote:Fireline in Catonsville does refills. Nice folks.
Look for fire protection type stores in your area.

This is the one I've been looking at (dare i say lusting after?) to buy as a backup. I'd be happy to help you with a build out on it.
