I saw this sale at aquariumplants.com, a 10 lb CO2 canister for $69.99. I'm tempted to buy another 10 lb tank.

You probably won't find a commercially available stand for a large tank that will accommodate a CO2 tank, except for some of the REALLY expensive stand/tank combos. They are designed to keep the top of the tank at a level where most people can reach in. So for a larger tank (55 on up) this means the space between bottom of the tank and the floor is reduced. You can do what I did and build your own stand.

I agree. They are kind of unsightly, especially the refurbs. That's the reason why I use the 5# tanks - to conceal them under my tank inside the cabinet... Sean, do you have any pics of your home-made stand?jcali10 wrote:20 lb Aluminum ones at aquariumplants.com measure 27.13" tall and 8.0" diameter.
I don't know it I want to have it sitting out in the open. The ones I have now are hidden in cabinets.
