Dense growth
With a hell of alot of luck. I just planted it thursday, and it just seems that everthing is stretching.
Dont get me wrong, im happy im growing things finally, instead of killing them.
Its a 72g bow, with 2 96w power compacts over it, and pressurized CO2 at 1 bub/psec. My 1 prob is surface scum, i cant get rid of ( posted about that already to no avail yet) another is that I an keeping glass tops on it b/c the damn cat and dog hair.

the post is in 'equipment' .. ive got the surface extractor as well, but not goodgetting suction from it.
ive broken the tank down a few times and moved, so things might be lost as to make it run efficiently, i might pick up a new one tonight, otherwise i think that my filter might be crammed with too much media, or maybe my filter motor is dying. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0">

I wouldn't worry about CO2 loss untill after you have the scum problem under control. That's actually a common problem of newly established tanks, it does go away after a bit.

I heard that rumor, but wasnt sure if it was true. Its definately not out of the question, as i eyed them up in the AC last night, but i bought another surface extractor to try. it works better than my other, but not to my liking. i left it on all night and today, so i will check the status when I get home. I think I had too much co2 puming cuz my fish were gasping last night, so I shut it off, and turned it on this am, but slowed the bubbles.
