MAB, I'm interested!!! I could get them from you at the next meeting..... We could grow them out in my classroom, under lights, at school. :)

Ghaz, where did you take those pics? Are they your orchids?

You will really like that lens. You can get away with a bit more when its handheld.

I have tele-converters, extension tubes, reversing ring, bellows......somewhere in there you can get 2:1 probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 11:1 with the right lens and a mathematics degree.

11:1 Holy crap! I can see it now. Ghazanfar's new avatar is going to be a close up of the pupil of a shrimp's eye or the rings in it's antennae!

With bellows its possible to get even higher - 20:1 - but you loose all
auto functionality and you're taking pictures in the dark so to say.
