Alright, got the new pumps in. Mini-jet 606.

I have 4 different size syringes, all of them are larger than the diameter of the outlet on the pump.

I must be a little dense, but where does one search for more of these in different sizes?

I have a 6ml syringe on mine. Not sure what the diameter is. It was one that I had. Maybe some silicone around it to seal it?

I just went to Harris Teeters' pharmacy and asked for a spare syringe,
the kind that they supply with infant medicines - they gave me two
different sizes - one of them fit like a glove - OJ style - a little tight,
but it fit :)

Thanks for the tip. I went around a few places today acquiring syringes, but none of them fit.

I found a piece of tubing to adapt the barb on the pump to the syringe. Looks like it should work like a champ.

I have another question (am I irritating you yet?)

I ran a few canister fulls of water through, to find out the low point where it wouldn't push anymore. THe low point is just barely under 1/2 of the canister, meaning there's almost 1.5L of water left it can't push. I assume this is limited by the size of the pump, is that correct? Should I have gotten bigger pumps than the 606s?

That doesn't sound right. Lower the head by a foot and see if that makes
a difference.

I'll give that a run when I change them out next week. I was very surprised too.

I am lifting to almost 50" of head height though.

50" may be too much. Easy way to check is to just lift it up while it is running and see if it pumps more fluid.

Just raise the containers up the difference. That should get you going
