I just went to Harris Teeters' pharmacy and asked for a spare syringe, neilanh wrote:Alright, got the new pumps in. Mini-jet 606.
I have 4 different size syringes, all of them are larger than the diameter of the outlet on the pump.
I must be a little dense, but where does one search for more of these in different sizes?
the kind that they supply with infant medicines - they gave me two
different sizes - one of them fit like a glove - OJ style - a little tight,
but it fit
I have another question (am I irritating you yet?)
I ran a few canister fulls of water through, to find out the low point where it wouldn't push anymore. THe low point is just barely under 1/2 of the canister, meaning there's almost 1.5L of water left it can't push. I assume this is limited by the size of the pump, is that correct? Should I have gotten bigger pumps than the 606s?

50" may be too much. Easy way to check is to just lift it up while it is running and see if it pumps more fluid.
