Nominations for 2007 officers

During this past meeting at Ali's home we discussed officer nominations for the year 2007. I shared with the club that I feel at this time that I cannot devote the time and energy necessary to stay president, but I would like to keep a position on the board.

Thus far we have the following nominations:

President - ???
Vice President - Jeff Ucciardo, Ali Khan
Corresponding Secretary - Aaron Talbot (me)
Recording Secretary - Kris Weinhold
Treasurer - Ghazanfar Ghori

Nominations are open until the day before the December 2nd meeting at Francine's place. We'll vote on all of the offices at that meeting.

Please feel free to nominate yourself as well if you would like to run for an office. All nominations must be seconded by another GWAPA member in good standing.

If you see your name on this list and feel that it shouldn't be there let me know and I'll adjust this post accordingly.

I thought Ghazanfar and Sean were both nominated for Pres and Treasurer depending on how Sean felt and what the bylaws said about term limits.

Sean has declined the nomination for president. If Ghazanfar wants to be nominated for president we'll need a nomination for treasurer (unless Sean still wants that job).
