Nano Tank Aquascaping Winners

Post by Aaron »

We only had a few of the contestants show up with tanks for the official judging yesterday afternoon. The winners were:

Sean Murphy - advanced category

Jeff Ucciardo - beginner category

Their prizes are a $50.00 gift certificate to the online aquarium store of their choosing. :D

Due to the low turnout for the contest we've decided to hold the voting for second place online. Second place will receive a one year extension on their GWAPA membership for free. 8)

Everyone please post a clear photo of your tank and the category you entered in (beginner or advanced) for everyone to view by the end of this week. The following week will be reserved for voting.

The winner's will have to post those if they wish to, preferably in a separate thread as they are not to be voted on. We voted in person so they do not necessarily have pictures.

I took some pictures. I haven't had a chance to check to see how they came out. I'll try and post them tonight. :-)

I used the new Hemianthus callicitroides sp. 'invisible'. I'm the only one who has it.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

Yeah, I guessed it was you and Melissa fessed up. :) She said you had a smirk on your face as you handed her the ballot.
