I have a new fert question. I have noticed over the last week or so that my micro sword and anubis "Frazeri" look to have some sort of deficiency. I would attach pics but it is hard to make out, so I will give a description. The Micro Sword is starting to get a slightly brown tint to the tips and a kind of bruised look. The Anubis have faint brown splotches on the leaves.
My fert daily regiment for 10 gal is:
1ml Flourish
1ml flourish excel along with diy co2
1ml flourish iron
1ml flourish nitrogen.
with a 15 watts of lights.
To much ferts? not enough?
my phosphates are at about 5ppm
Nitrite are measuring at 0,
As far as the nitrite testing is No3 the correct nitrogen test kit to use? Or should I say am I testing for the correct type of nitrogen?
Also not a big concern yet, but I also noticed a small amount of what looks like hair algea.
deficiency?
deficiency?

Nitrite should be 0 in a tank that is 'healthy', what is the Nitrate level? Did you check your ammonia level? What is the substrate again? Microsword might not do so well, or at the least might take a while to adjust, with only 15 watts of light. I'd try dosing everything except the excel on an every other day schedule with only 15 watts of light.
