How do you sex rams? Picked up 7 of them from my local Petsmart for a dollar each and am curious as to what I need to look for. Any info is appreciated.

I'm no bait expert, but the differences in the sex of my rams were very obvious once they were mature. The males were larger with larger fins. Their colors were more intense too.

Its hard to sex ram when there young.If you got the German rams the female have a pink stomach.

I got Bolivian's and so far no pinks are showing. Mainly reds, blue and a bit of yellow.

Bolivian's are hard to sex when they aren't mature.Look for longer fins on the male and more color.
