Well I sold off all of my Africans and need some fish for my 55. I want to add shrimp at some point so I need some help picking out fish. I was thinking rummy nose, ember tertas a few cories. I would really like a pair of rams but that means no shrimp. What else is cool that I could keep with shrimp, or if its really neat maybe I dont want shrimp
I've kept a variety of apistos with shrimp. I bet you could keep them with Rams, but you might want to grow them out in a small tank, and only put in the large females if you're worried. Or, if it's going to be heavy planted anyways, maybe just add a few cherry shrimp, and if they get eaten, it's okay as they'll have babies to replace them.
