Differences in lighting types, + or - of each, necessary precautions(heat, wiring, ballast, fans)

Not sure if we have covered this before but think for us newer members it would be a great help.

How about we have a discussion about lighting options
instead of a formal talk?

I've got MH retrofit, CF retrofit and shoplight to show and tell.

AK - can you bring with you your CF fixture for show and tell?

That sounds fine to me. I have a T5 light now, but it's a tad bit unweildy to be lugging to the meeting.
