Growing Crypt. parva emersed

Post by aquaticclarity »

Has anyone tried growing Crypt. parva immersed? I'm starting up a Crypt tank but was thinking of getting the parva established with just wet feet in hopes of knocking down the algae on it. Has anyone tried this?

I grow mine in an Ikea Samla plastic shoebox. About 3-4 cm compost, plant, fill with water until the crown is just underwater. Easy peasy.

Cheers.
