Thanks Caven

Ill be over there in two weeks and will check again and bring some back assuming I don't get drained of blood by the ticks and chiggers at her house. Should have it at my place by the next meeting.

The stuff like this in my yard shot up dandelion-looking flowers this week.

THAT MOSS!!! I'm in love!

But chiggers?? Pretty sure they're spawn of Satan. Hard pass.

This tiny thing next to Sean's glosso that I was too lazy to plant properly was some moss that came from a flowerpot outside... it originally was seemed like it was just dying slowly and was looking terrible so I threw it out, but a tiny piece I missed turned into this months later and now I hope it gets much larger... probably the only one I've randomly grabbed that looks any good aquatic :/

Interesting. I've found many, many varieties of moss in my yard, including some kind of less-common ones, but I've only ever put them in paludariums. I've never tried them aquatically.

Sir Wobble, that sure does look Fissidens-y!

It sure does look like fontanus but I've only ever bought nobilis, I'm sure it doesn't look like nobilis... I suppose it's always possible it rode in on a piece of buce or something.

There's native Fissidens in North America! Not sure if this far north, but one could think it's certainly a possibility...
