To answer a question that came up yesterday:
Epiphytes are non-parasitic plants that grow on other plants.
Lithophytes are plants that can grow on bare rock.
Rheophytes are plants that can grow attached to a substrate in swift flowing streams (substrate could be rock or a submerged tree trunk).
Hecklephytes - The Friends that have grown on you that are still willing to heckle your talk to the club.
