Wabi-Kusa Workshop
Re: Wabi-Kusa Workshop
Michael Barber would like to participate - please count me in to add a small tank to make my new grand total of tanks equal FIVE. Oops.

Re: Wabi-Kusa Workshop
Because I don't have a tank (or anything else), could someone detail exactly what we're getting at the workshop so that I can buy the rest of the things I will need in advance? At the meeting today, I think y'all said tank, light, substrate, and a couple of plants. So I would need to get a filter, heater, and water test kit? Thanks!
Re: Wabi-Kusa Workshop
The tanks setups will include a small tank, a light, a corner filter, a lid, and substrate. Florida Aquatic Nurseries will send nano plants.
If you want to, you could get a heater or a water test kit, but they are not necessary.

Re: Wabi-Kusa Workshop
You won't be using the filter with the wabi kusa, you keep it in only an inch or two of water. The nice part is you clean the setup by pulling the ball out and washing the tank. Then you trim the plants on the ball and set it back in the tank.
I recommend everyone save foreground and stem plant thinnings for the workshop.

i.e., to follow on my last message. If one of the 20 spaces available, I would be interested.
Re: Wabi-Kusa Workshop
Paul, there's still space. Please paypal $5 to gwapa@gwapa.org, and I'll add you to the list.
