So, I had a very nice cryptocoryne wendtii in the front of my tank with leaves approximately 3 inches long and the plant was probably 3 inches wide, and then the apartment above me flooded into my dining room (the water didn't get into the tank) and I had to push my dining room table and chairs in front of my tank for two weeks while they did repairs.
Anyways, I moved my table back and looked at my tank properly for the first time in 2 weeks, and the crypt is GONE! There are 4 little tiny stems sticking out of the substrate, but the rest of the plant is missing!
Is that normal? What causes that? I figured I would see leaf debris or something, but there's literally nothing!
Help! I'm so confused!
My plant disappeared?

Re: My plant disappeared?
Crypts do that a lot. It happens when there is some change of environment. Leave the rhizome and they usually grow back.
