Midground crypt

Post by Aaron »

Okay, Blyxa japonica has had its day in my tank. Don't get me wrong it's a great plant. I just want something new.

What Crypts would be good in my 75 gallon setup as a midground? Something around 4-6" tall would be perfect. I would prefer something leafy over something grassy.

C. pontederiifolia
C. moehlmannii

Both are beautiful, full leaved crypts.

Also, the following crypts are high on my list of wants.

C. yujii, C. bullosa, C. aponogetonafolia, C. hudoroi, Cryptocoryne cordata 'Rosanervig' and C. auriculata.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

I may be able to do that. I'm at the mercy of other carpoolers though. Could you bring some to the meeting?

C. moehlmannii is already in there. That's one of my favorite Crypts.
