Lighting Question: I’m planning a low maintenance, medium growth aquascaped tank - in a 20 tall, 24 x 12 x 16.. If needed, hopefully I can just use the liquid carbon enhancement. Or maybe I should aim for low/medium.
Tropical Lagoon on Georgia Ave has recommended a dual tube T5 hood/fixture (only $60), with a hinged glass top.
A thread here made me wonder if two T5s will grow a lot of algae, so wondering if this is the best choice, especially for someone hoping to minimize maintenance.
I can scrape the glass with a magnetic scraper occasionally, buy a couple algae eaters, or – worst case – schedule fewer hours of lighting, so maybe there’s nothing to really worry about here??
Thanks
Jim P
Hope to meet everybody Sat.
