Additional light fixture

So I tested my 90 gallon tank with the club PAR meter and it tops out at the bottom at around 40 PAR units when the finnex planted plus 24/7 is on max. I need to put a glass lid or perhaps use the canopy that came with the tank to prevent heat and fish loss which will cut the PAR units down even lower. Thinking I need to add a second light to get to about 60 during peak hours. Think I should get another 24/7 or a different light? The 24/7 is about $150 while the original planted plus is $135 and the Ray 2 is about $180. I would use the two non-24/7 units on a timer to come on during peak hours.
