Many of you have experience with cherry shrimp. I just received my first batch. I really like them.
The batch I got has a bunch of non-cherries in it. They are the exact same size and shape, but not red. I'm concerned that they will interbreed and the babies will be only a little cherry... or pink or white... or something. You know what I mean. The shrimp were free, so I really can't complain.
Anyway, think I should do my best to pick out the clear ones?

Re: Cherry Shrimp Questions
I was thinking that after doing some reading over on APC, but they are clear as glass. Not even slightly red.Might be a male Cherry Shrimps as they are not red in color just some spots.
Looks like Nate is the shrimp man and gets them all from you people at meetings. I'm going to have to make that 5 hour trip up there one week and come to a meeting.
I asked him (Nate) who on Aquabid is reliable to buy shrimp from. I think I got shafted. What a pain. I've been picking out the clear ones. My big rainbows love them.
Thanks for your help.
