I plan to start printing nametags tomorrow, so pls respond to this thread if you are coming to the meeting. I will pull your Avatar from there.
Last year it was a great meeting, with a HUGE auction. I think the weather is going to be nice (I am thinking positive that the rain will not arrive until after the mtg). If nothing else come for my Mom's burritos.

Looks like we have all the makings of a nice feast. If anyone still wants to bring something, additional appetizers and desserts would certainly be gobbled up. One thing I have learned from past GWAPA mtgs, is that this group likes to EAT!
FOOD SUMMARY:
Like last year, I plan to make my Mom's green chili string beef burritos (don't worry they are not hot/spicy) served on freshly grilled tortillas, accompanied by all the fixings (cheese, sour cream, green onions, etc), homemade salsa and spanish rice. I'll also make a batch of lemondaid to help wash it down. Hint: wear expandable pants.
Two big bags for white tortilla chips (Cristy is bringing)
Big batch of guacamole (Jim F)
An assortment of soda (both diet and regular) for those who don't want lemonaid (Judy is bringing)
Vegetarian beans - refried, baked, black, whatever... (Chris - black beans)
A yummy dessert or two or heck, even three (I LOVE sweets) (Viktor is bringing Choc Chip Cookies, and if George attends he will bring peach cobler, Alrene is bringing something Yummy, and we all know what a great cook she is)
Other:
Sonny Disposition is bringing Korean style fried chicken.
Jim F is bringing a fruit platter

Great! Since the photography speaker isn't able to make it, I fully expect you to give me some aquarium photography tips. I bought this great camera, but my pictures still are dismal. I should also have you autography my aquarium book with your photographs (insert, I am beyond impressed emoticon here).Jeff120 wrote:I plan to be there!

All four of us will be there, though Amy (Amy_Payne) does not have an avatar.
See you Saturday,

A reminder that any food you bring does not have to be a donation. GWAPA will reimburse food expenses. Bring your receipt for reimbursement. We budget $40 per meeting.
Re: Sept Mtg Food and Misc thread
I will not be able to make it. Is anyone near me or passing by my place who can pick up the PAR meter?
Re: Sept Mtg Food and Misc thread
I'll be there, plus 1!
