As an attendee, I congratulate you on what was a very informative, interesting presentation. It was a lot of food for thought and I think everyone there really got a lot out of it. In terms of promoting the hobby, I can't imagine a bettery way! Following the presentation I can say that I am really sold on GWAPA.
That's great to hear! Please know, that if you ever see any opportunities for future workshops, or other aquatic-related events, please suggest them. The more folks we have participating, the better the club will be for everyone. So, talk to you local fish shops, and ask them to carry more plants or plant-related products. Ask if they'd be willing to host a workshop like the one this weekend.
And if that's all too bold. If there's ever a topic that you're not clear on, and would like discussed at a GWAPA meeting, please mention it. After awhile, it's hard to figure out what people are interested in hearing about. Don't worry if you think other people already know about it. There's always something to be learned. If you see ways to improve the website, don't hesitate to suggest those things either.
And finally.. Make sure you have fun!

It's nice to hear that the workshop was such a success.
The pictures came out well...though I think I need some facial hair. I look like I'm 18 or something.

C'mon guys, My hair started receding in college, but not too badly - my wife asked who the guy was in my graduation picture hanging on my sister's wall...
But getting carded is a small thrill for senior citizens with very little hair, and that white. You take your pleasures where you can.
