Julie,

So sorry that I wasn't able to get to you before the meeting. I'm at Lake Havasu at the moment, and we were out on the river very early this morning and didn't get back until after 9 tonight.

I hope that it turned out okay!

Lake havasu?! I went to HS in Parker AZ. If you get in to trouble on the river tell my mom to to easy on you she is the county judge. ;)

Its a hot time of year to be in AZ.

The pulled pork turned out nicely.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

LOL, Julie!

We'll keep you mom in mind! My SIL has a vacation place up in the hills above Lake Havasu, that's why we are here. We are leaving today. It's been fun, but so hot! Today is going to be a high of 113 and by the end of the week, 116. I don't know how people live out here.

Anyway, it's been fun with two big boats, tow rafts. We saw a pack of 8 big horn sheep coming down from the cliffs to get a drink at the water's edge yesterday and I was able to take a few decent pictures of them.

I wish I could go collecting in desert to get some of the beautiful desert ironwood, but it's too hot! But we'll see what I can bring back.
