Barbed Y Adapter

Post by sfarkhan »

So the lily pipes are really nice but I suspect the small openings may reduce the flow from the 406.

I have two intakes and I want to place both on the tank next to each other using a "Y" barbed 5/8" adapter to the input of the Fluval 406.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these online? I tried Home Depot's website with no luck. Both hardware stores near me don't have it. Everyone carries a T adapter.

I would drive to a Home Depot, but renting a zip car adds ~$25 to the price and I might as well have it shipped. The challenges of trying to have a hobby in the city :)

Would a T work aside from the odd angle?

Once you go Dutch you can't stop trimming.

Thanks guys, Fedex just delivered one from Ozone Solutions - Kynar 5/8" barb. It's supposed to be highly resistant to corrosives (fish poop) :)
