CO2 and Excel

Post by JLW »

Okay, so I finally got my CO2 unit up and running .. though I really do need to calibrate the pH meter so I know how much is REALLY in there, but ... anyhow....

I have half a bottle of Excel and a nearly full bottle of CO2 boost from Aquarium Pharm (their brand of Excel, basically). Will I see any benefit to using these up, or should I just bin them or give them away?

Keep it around to use when you are in-between filling the canister or when you need to spot-treat algae. Better yet, just give it to me. ;)

LOL I'm in too! I use both if I find algae lurking around....which is a lot of the time!

Excel is also great to use in DIY micro fert mixes to avoid mold, so keep it around. To be honest I doubt Excel or CO2 had anything to do with your Amano's, remember serenity now!!
Sincerely,
Tim
