July Meeting...Need Plant Donations!

Post by Aaron »

It has come to my attention that Cristy has asked that we help her redo/rescape one of her existing tanks at the upcoming meeting in July. Please bring any plants you can donate to the cause. :)

Cristy - Am I correct in thinking this is for the 46 bowfront?

I suppose we'll need some keystone rocks then. ;)

It twiggy, so I think a hot glue gun and some lava rocks should do it.

Now, is this an empty tank we will be working on or are we digging up old plants and just replanting?

If Christy - or anybody else - can deal with K-deficiency holes in Anubias nana, I'm still running surplus. Lots of surplus...

Actually, I have TONS of plants already, though I would like some H. calictroides (sp?). The branchy driftwood will be much appreciated! :D Please don't bring rocks, I have way more than enough. :shock:

I told GG that you can have your choice of tanks to re-scape. I've just redone the 46bf, though I'm not entirely happy with the layout. But there other plant-full unscaped tanks are:
a high-light co2 30long;
a med/low light 30long full of anubias, java fern and moss w/o co2;
a med light 20high w/o co2;
an empty high light 20high that will have co2;
a 2.5 gallon high light with co2;
and possibly a 55, though I don't have a light for it yet.

Robert...I'll take some anubias off your hands. I'm willing to forgive the K deficiency I suppose. :)

Robert, I could use a couple more anubias too if you're looking to get rid of them.

They'll fit right in with my K deficient anubias!

Count me in for some Anubias as well, if you've got enough...
