local source for PMDD components?

Post by ericbullock »

Is there a local source for the components of PMDD? Also, is the precise measuring of the dry chemicals that critical? When I was crusing the forums I heard mention of gram scales and triple-beams. Please tell me I don't need another expensive piece of equipment! :?

Or, if anybody has an abundance of the dry chemicals and want's to share I'd be more than happy to take some off of their hands!

Precise measuring is up to you, some folks get scales some use teaspoons. It's more a matter of how precise you want to be. That said, gram scales can be had inexpensivly. Online for about $20 gets one a usable scale that reads 1 place to the right of the decimal.

I have an overstock of KNO3, but thats all. You can source locally but you have to hit different places for the items. Greg Watson has a website www.gregwatson.com where you can order all the various potions inexpensivly from while relaxing in a comfy chair.

Hi Nathan - thanks for the tip. I just placed an order on Greg's site for 1# of the PMDD pre-mix. No scales involved!

I think 1# will be plenty to start with, then I may get more adventerous and start mixing my own.

Cheers,
