Doing the same thing in text replies to messages in IE.

Once you go beyond the space of the box, it does this hyperactive child looking hop up and down... shoing you the beginning when not actively typing, hopping down to word as you type, then up, then down.....

Side note, very very bright now. Maybe just used to reading some forums with black. Possible to grey it down, all darker a notch instead of the white, almost white, hint of grey?

Thanks Sean, for volunteering to write a few articles!
Why would I do that, you still have to fix the one I wrote.

Thanks for the extra info on IE. I'm looking into it.

As for the background, the background color is gray now. Doesn't it appear that way to everyone else?

Dave/Julie, I'm guessing that your on an older version of IE. In other words, not Internet Explorer 9.0? I believe I've fixed the jumpiness when you type, but there's still some wonkyness I can't figure out if you use the button above the editor. I'll keep working on it, but my best advice is to upgrade to the latest version of IE. The forum will look nicer with the latest version too (rounded edges, etc). From what I can tell, this issue doesn't exist in Firefox, Safari, or Chrome either.

Background is much better then the white.
It seems slower. When you hit reply it takes 5-10 seconds to post.

Can a quick reply box be put in at the bottom. Instead of having to click a button for the box to pop up?

I'm running IE 8 and can't upgrade because my company strickly controls the SW on my laptop.

I've updated the pages to show the "Quick Reply" box by default. I'll look into the slower response times on reply. It seems inconsistent to me -- sometimes fast, sometimes slow...

Julie, I totally understand that your laptop is locked down. Hopefully, the textbox is at least working a little bit better for you? I'll continue to look on fixing it 100%...

It does look slightly gray but very faint almost like a shadow.

Kris,
The PM box does seem to be working better now. Thanks.
