I took many pictures at the October meeting, and it turns out not all of them sucked!

Finally, I was walking down the fish tank aisles and saw these guys, and simply couldn't resist. So now we have a half dozen juvie tiger oscars! Some day, they will live in the 90g, and when they get too big for that, we'll just have to get an even bigger tank, won't we? :D

Nice job!

Congrats on the Oscars, 90 or 190?
Sincerely,
Tim

you will be amazed how quickly those oscars are going to need much more than a 90! :D They are ADORABLE. I look forward to seeing how the coloring and patterning evolves as they grow

Yeah, I think it was the first time *I've* ever seen a fish and gone "Awww, how cute!" When I texted a pic to Amy, the response was "Squee! They are beautiful!"

Then when I got them home, she joked that this was a very sneaky way to get a 180g tank.

George's new home is in Kevin's Oscar tank. And yeah, I'm not sure what I was thinking, other than "Wow, those would look fantastic is a big six foot tank!" :D Bit of an impulse buy, but one I think I can live with.

Chris... great job! Thank you for doing such a great job documenting the event for those who couldn't make it. And for those of us who did! :)
