October Meeting - Who's Coming?

Post by krisw »

The October Meeting is October 15th at That Fish Place in Lancaster, PA. We are doing a joint meeting with the ACLC. They will be providing a speaker on live bearers, and GWAPA will be speaking about aquascaping, and holding a related workshop. More details will be released soon, but we need to know how many GWAPA members are planning on attending. TFP is well-worth the drive as one of the largest aquarium stores in the U.S., both in terms of their dry goods warehouse, as well as, their fish section.

So, who's in?

This is part of my process, how good is the livestock selection, lots of odd balls creatures that are hard to find?
Sincerely,
Tim

Sorry, corrected. Yes, it's in Lancaster, PA...

We're working on doing some sort of an aquascaping-related workshop. We'll need some knowledgeable folks such as yourselves to volunteer to give advice/lead those folks who haven't done as much aquascaping / hardscape design in the past. Plus, just folks to help setup and tear down.

Unless my schedule changes or something comes up, I'll be there, and I'll do something to help out. Hey, I know, maybe I could take notes and pictures and stuff! Kinda like the recording secretary's job. :D

But yeah, I'll help in any way I can with the aquascaping stuff (though I'd probably be much more helpful setting up and breaking down the tanks and things than actually giving advice).

I plan on attending. Not sure how much time I will get there before the mtg. If I am early, I'd be glad to help setup.

Most of the Oddball creatures are members of the ACLC! Happy to have you guys coming up to Lancaster. The last time we did a workshop with GWAPA it was one of our best attended meetings. Everybody is still talking about it. I am going out to TFP soon to talk to the manager about what we can do to make it a great meeting and beneficial to all. They usually support us by getting in livestock to go along with whatever our program is. If you've never been there, they have everything from the common to the rare, from tiny to large and a large marine section. Best dry goods you will find anywhere, selection and price wise.
