Oceanic Illuminata
I'm in the market for a new 36" tank. ADA is definitley a consideration, but loking at the Oceanic rimless line, and since I don't think it'll be for competition, I think it'll be a longer lasting tank. Does anyone have any infor on the Oceanic? Is the waranty the same as all their other tanks?

I was just at ADG on Thursday and finally got the see a bunch of ADA tanks and I was really impressed with them. The prices for the bare tanks are really not bad at all either and the workmanship is outstanding. Personally, I don't like the bottom frame on the Oceanic either. Another size ADA I saw that I really liked was the 90p high, the dimensions were really nice I thought.

I was thinking about them as well. I want a 21 x 36 x 18, same as my current oceanic, but rimless. I also looked at EAST Coast custom, but theyre asking for $700.00 becuase it's made from 1/2 glass.DonkeyFish wrote:What about the Mr. Aqua tanks or GLA rimless line? I believe there are a few members here that have one or the other... plus I believe we still get a discount from GLA as club members. Worth looking into if you haven't yet!
I have until July. I also spoke with ADA yesterday. Shipping would be about 150.00 for 1 tank, but a second would be about 10.00 bucks more. That might be a good choice, split the shipping cost. Jen, you looking for another tank?

Correct, they do match prices. I really like the dimensions on the tank (21H x 18L x 36W) which makes for great scaping, with plenty room for fish to swim above, like the angels do. I'll see over the next couple months.halak wrote:If you live closer to TFW, they may match Centreville's price. The owner, Jim, is there Saturdays and Sundays for sure.
