Sir,

One of the best chickpea dishes I've had. Could you post a recipe?

Thanks!

You can grab the recipe off my website:
http://www.desicookbook.com/recipe.aspx?recipe=89

The ingredients call for a few 'specialty' items.

1) black chana = Black Chickpeas
2) Chaat Masala = A blend of spices
Recipe here: http://www.desicookbook.com/recipe.aspx?Recipe=39

You can get everything at your local Middle Eastern grocery store. There's one in Vienna - around the corner from your house called Assam Market.
They should have everything.

Word of warning - if you're going to attempt to make Chaat masala at home, pick a day when you can open up your windows etc. Roasting dry chili peppers isnt easy on the eyes/lungs. LOL!
