Cleaning glass interior?

Now that I've filled the tank to check plumbing and get it settled on the rug I've noticed that the glass could use cleaning. I can do the cleaning when I drain the tank for shimming. What is a recommended cleaner?

Ammonia solution? Alcohol? Vinegar?

I'm hesitant to use "glass cleaner" which might leave harmful residue.
