Nano Soft Water Tank

Post by Aaron »

I started a 5.5 gallon with soft water loving species.

Plant List
Tonina sp. belem
Tonina sp. manaus
Tonina sp. (unknown, could be belem)
Eriocaulon cinereum
Hemianthus callitrichoides
Bacopa sp. 'red'
Ludwigia sp. pantanal

Fauna
none...I plan on experimenting with ammonia dosing.

Very nice. Great layout. Will be nice to see what it grows into.

Thanks, the pantanal is starting to look nice in that soft water and aquasoil. I think it'll really take off once I get the CO2 hooked up and stop relying purely on excell, which does work amazingly enough.

Well, here's an update finally. I've added Tonina fluviatilis, Utricularia sp., and Pogostemon helferi into the mix as well now.

This is looking great! I bet that if you took the picture head on, without the frame showing, it'll look much bigger than a 5G! Do you have any CO2 on this tank, or is it all just Amazonia and light?

I did have CO2, but it ran out. I've been dosing excel the past couple of weeks.
