Here's another one. (I read that Neritina usnea is the proper name, not Neritina reclivata)

I want at least 50. That should be enough for a cleaning crew and a breeding project. :) I would love to put the order together, but I'm in no shape to do much of anything aside from eat and sleep. Surgery was a tad rougher than anticipated. I'd still order some though if someone close by wouldn't mind picking mine up for me?

I emailed AZ Gardens about a discount on group ordering and they said their prices are already super low. They are $0.79 a snail + overnight Fedex shipping.

Am I correct in assuming that Sean is proposing that GWAPA pays for the snails and we pay shipping? That would be too sweet! 8)

Aaron, I could probably pick yours up from Sean, and deliver them. Sorry to hear that you're surgery was tough!

I believe Sean is proposing that GWAPA "spot" the money. This means that GWAPA will pay for everything up front, but we'll still have to pay the club back for everything. This will just allow orders to be placed faster. Of course, I doubt the club will want to do this in the future if folks can't pay on pickup.

Aaron, when you called AZ Gardens, did they mention if they had a bunch in stock?

PM'd Ghazanfar and he said he stocked about 1:5 gallons or so in his 215. I'd imagine 25-30 would be plenty for you Nate.

Kris, I emailed them. They said that in order to get a discount we'd have to order at least $1200 worth so I'm assuming they have plenty in stock.

Wilma's price is $2.00 / snail, but she'll ship priority mail (cheaper) and may make a deal on a large order so it's hard to say who'd be cheaper in the end. I'd be willing to front the money before we order if that's an issue.

Nate, AZ Garden's site says to stock 1 per gallon or more.
