Need Fish

Post by Ben Belton »

There is nowhere local to get fish. I am looking for online sources. Inverts-Factory's list is from June. I wrote Nikolay, and he said they still have some things on that list.

Where else can I get fish online?

Can I keep Pygmy Cories in a tank with Flourite? Won't it hurt their barbles or something like that?

www.anubiasdesign.com has a nice selection. Last I saw they had green neon tetras for $1.00 a piece.

Invertz has Rasbora Espei and Rasbora Hengli. In the picture they look exactly the same that I can tell. Do you know a difference.

Thanks, I'll check out anubias design. Never heard of a Green Neon.

Also check out Invertebrates by MsJinkzd (aka Rachel O'Leary). She doesn't just carry inverts, though she has lots of those, too:

Thanks.. I'm actually a friend of theirs on Facebook or I like them or something on Facebook. I didn't even think of them.

I'm not a big fan of Facebook if you can't tell.

+1 for Rachel. She gets new stuff in all the time and will try to order something you want if she can. And her fish are always healthy and on great shape. Last time I was up there She Had a bunch of Asian rummynose... i'm not a fan of rummys but those were quite beautiful. Same red nose, but bluer bodies instead of silver. She also just got some full sized P. Furcatas (blue eyed rainbows).

There's always drs. Foster Smith or that fish place for mail order too... for a big selection.
It is not murder if you're killing snails.

She had the furcatus rainbows that I want. So I'm going to get some.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Has anyone ever ordered from this guy?

BTW I didn't get the furcatus. She was out. Maybe she will have more soon.

I don't see many fish listed on that site.

I've ordered from Anubias Design before and had a good experience. It's hard to beat his prices too.

I looked at his list last night. He just does't have much of anything I want right now. They all probably are laying low because people are buying for Christmas. Then after everyone has received their Christmas aquarium, they will have lots in to sell.
