Wow....my Rams spawned.

Post by quezoxx »

I was looking in the corner of my tank and I saw the male Ram guarding an area. Also the female was a little ragged and looked like she got skinny. Anyways, found out that they had spawned because there is a little indentation in the soil and a tough daddy hovering over the eggs. He attacks the female sometimes, looks like hes been rough on her. Is that normal? All of the corys are on the other side of tank staying out of the way. Any suggestions? I don't even know if I wanna take the time to raise them. Guess I'll just let nature take its course. I didn't even try, they did it on their own.

Well, they ate the eggs. I think this is common for the first spawn. Oh well. Better luck next time. Um...I think they are the standard German Blue Rams.
