Juvi Amanos
Found a couple of juvi < 1" sized amano shrimp in my 90P this weekend. I do have a ton of large females in there that are constantly berried up - I guess a tiny percentage do end up surviving.

Re: Juvi Amanos
I had Caridina japonica growing in a 55 gallon planted tank back in 2003 and they used to reproduce like crazy. I got them from some lady in west virginia that had good success with them. I was constantly selling clumps of java moss + shrimp on ebay and made some nice pocket change that way.Ghazanfar Ghori wrote:Found a couple of juvi < 1" sized amano shrimp in my 90P this weekend. This is your high-tech 90p, which I presume you dose regularly? I wonder whether the ferts might be doing the trick? It's not exactly sea salt, but if you're dosing NPK and micros, you are at least increasing the conductivity (and probably getting at least some of the constituent ions in sea salt (K, Mg, Ca), if not in the right proportions).
