I will be bringing another vegan dish to counter whatever you're bringing.

I'm bringing steak tartare! :wink:

Just kidding. Actually I'm brining Marlene and her filled cupcakes.

Cheers.

:lol:

Fine, I'll bring the gagh (live worms, a Klingon delicacy)

If I can't find any gagh that's fresh enough, I may bake a pie. (Although if I have to compete with Davie Crocker, maybe not! Perhaps I'll bake something else.)

Judi;

If a pie won't work, you could always bring a haggis, or blood pudding. :mrgreen:

Cheers.

December 5th, 1:00pm

John Godbey has graciously volunteered to host our party at his home in Springfield, VA. GWAPA will provide ham (thanks to John and his wife for cooking) and sodas, but it's up to all of us to bring the side dishes, salads, desserts, etc.
Isn't that the date/time of the PVAS meeting? Or is this combined?

Unfortunately, it is at the same time as the PVAS meeting. We set our schedule at the beginning of the year. They recently switched to Saturdays, and didn't realize this conflict. We investigated combining our meetings, but ultimately it didn't work out for a number of logistical reasons.

Unfortunately, Amy and I won't be able to make it. Stephanie has a dance recital, and Katie has opening night for her Christmas play.

See you in January! May everyone in GWAPA have a safe and Happy Holiday Season!

I'll be there and I'm hoping to bring homemade egg nog if I can find a way to keep it cold for the trip. I'm planning to bring bourbon as well for those who would like to add a bit. If anyone has the slightest problem with my bringing alcohol please let me know. I certainly don't need to bring it.
