High tech filters

Post by DelawareJim »

Don't know how many people like Fluval filters, but for those who also like to geek out with the tech stuff, they recently came out with 2 new filters; the G3 and G6.

Eheim also has come out with the Professional IIIe.

Cheers.

Wow, did you see the price on the Fluvals? Tho they look "very kewl", I'd be hard pressed to be one of the first to try them out just for price alone.

Pretty neat filters. The look of the fluval is especially nice, but I can't tell if they've finally gone to standard types of hose, verses their ribbed one. Plus, it would be nice to know if you could dissolve CO2 in there... There's a very nice site with even more info and pictures here:

The Eheim looks like business as usually, but with computer electronics...

Yeah, I agree. Any changes would only spoil a good thing. :D

LOL, yeah, I don't have a problem with Eheim's Pro series. Was just saying that Fluval looks to be trying to innovate more than Eheim at the moment. Now, whether it yields a great product that last years, or just an expensive toy that's in a land fill in 2 years is the next question...

So, to answer that question, who's going to get one and review it? LOL!
