Does that mean you got some too?

suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure you don't.
I got some a few weeks back. They really are purty, but with a tank to themselves they're a bit shy. Need to get some dithers in there to make them "brave up".

I have a 40 breeder for sale that would make a great planted tank! :)

OMG I just about had a heart attack remembering this was the last weekend of the month and it was GWAPA time and I didn't know where the meeting was and its 1pm and dear god I didn't make it last time and I really want to do and I need gas in the car and directions I hope it's close and.... it's Friday. *bangs head on desk*

Mark - even younger people get acid reflux :( I've had it since I was 22, showed up with my ulcer. 22 and an ulcer?! Yup, I'm special.

I want the phillipine java! Don't let it go to the cichlid person!! (He can make do with just regular :p) I don't have it yet :) How did I manage to start with the rarer forms first?! This club is an evil influence... tho it's awesome to have trident growing in a terrarium :D

Cavan - I'm staying in north DC and should be able to give you a ride. I'll PM you my number. I won't have connection to the internet tonight so that's the only way to get ahold of me.

Corey, I can't remember if anyone has Phillipine to be honest - not one we see often, would be a good grow out plant for someone with space!

I really don't have the blue Rams. ;) I'd seen some triple Red Agassizzi recently that just blew me away, and they took the last tank I can house cichlids in. Compulsive buy, but the male is just stunning. ;)

This is the java fern I have growing in my 29G mineralized soil tank. This is not a pic of my tank. It has a little BBA on it, so I plan on doing the bleach dip thing to it before I bring it.

I can't believe I have BBA in a tank where there is no ferts in the water column.

Sorry dave, I was responding to Joe's listing on page 3 of this thread, I read through it quickly catching up what has been going on. Thus the relatively random responses!

I've seen phillipine and tropica forms listed a lot on places like eBay and aquabid... guess who is selling them :? A chance to get some from in the country is great!

Dave, I don't even want to know how much those triple reds must have been  Any time I see fish upwards of $20+ I back away slowly and try and blank them from my mind lol

I remember that! They were pretty young tho right, probably mixed sexes but hadn't colored up? How are they doing? They must be crazy looking  I think it's funny how in the shops if they haven't colored up people don't know what they are missing, but the males are intense once they do!! I'd just hate to spend that much $$$ when I'm not sure enough of myself right now to keep them happy. I'll stick with my Asian theme :)
