What fish goes well with tiger barbs? I have killer tiger barbs that killed two dwarf puffers and a small platy. Any thoughts on black tetras and/or cherry barbs?

On another topic, maybe equipment, how does one add water to the tank using a python and take out the chlorine and chloramines? Add conditioner directly to tank or some other way.

My SAE probably engulfed either the chlorinated water or else the conditioner and went belly up. Thoughts on where to get another SAE? Like around DC and surrounding neighborhoods?

Aquarium Center or Exotic Aquatics usually has SAEs...at AC they have them labeled as flying foxes, but they are SAEs.

You can add the conditioner as you add the water back to the tank. If you use "Prime", they specify to use for the enire tank volume rather than just the added volume - perhaps concentration sensitive?

so let's say, for a 30 gal, I take out 10 gallons, and add enough Prime for about 30 gal.

That is what Seachem suggests.
