Spectracide Stump Remover

Post by jcali10 »

I ran out of KNO3 so I bought this stuff at Lowes for $5.95. There is a picture of it and a link to the MSDS in the link. The MSDS says it is 100% potassium nitrate. Has anyone ever used it in their planted tanks?

Yes, it has been used, works just as it should. I bet I have a bottle of it someplace around here.

Glad to hear you both confirm this stuff is okay to use. Now I need to find a local source for some potassium sulfate, K2SO4.

I believe I've got at least 2 lbs of K2SO4 that I don't need.
