The grain size is too large to plant a lot of plants in. You're better off using Flourite or something else.

i saw that, i was hoping to find out if anyone had used it before or had some personal experience...it seems to be pretty much the same as the flourite though
already bought a bag of 40 pounds and was going to add a layer of eco complete on top... :?: and then the tgrade from Michael. im going to have a good 4 inches layer in the aquarium 8)
