8x39w T5's in TEK fixtures, mineralized soil substrate.

I don't keep large fish.

6' tank with the largest fish being 3". ;) I can see some up there.... Tank has Pygmy cories, otos, rummynose tetras, german rams, neon rainbows, amano and cherry shrimp, snails.

I was at Dave's a few days ago - saw the setup in person. Very impressive. He's got some super healthy plants and the scapes are looking good. Pics are not so horrible or blurry either. Great job man!

That is a beautiful tank. I'm jealous. :-) Is that a 125 gallon? Nice lights.... I may do the hanging lights on my next tank, but do the fish jump out of the tank? What about evaporation? Is there a lot with an uncovered top like that???

180g, right.

I lose about a gallon a day to evaporation. The tank is plumbed into my house and does automatic water changes, adds/changes 4-5 gallons a day.

Thanks for the compliments!
