Galaxy Rasboras

Post by jcali10 »

I was at the Aquarium Depot today, they had some in stock; I counted about 12 or 13 in the tank, selling for $5.49 each. They were very young, and about an inch or less in size.

Just wanted to share incase anyone was interested.

I believe they are now called Celestial Pearl Danios, but they are tagged as Galaxy Rasboras.

I have decided I am not allowed to add anything else to the 15h that currently houses 12 CPD, 4 Celebes rainbows, an unknown quantity of Cherry reds, 5 bumble bee shrimp, and 10+ amanos.

They are going to get moved to a 30Br probably.

5.49 though, damn wish I had waited to restock the 15, I think I paid 8 a piece when I redid the tank earlier this year.

Out of sheer contrariness, I refuse to call them Celestial Pearl Danios. I might be willing to compromise and call them Galaxy Danios, however.

At any rate, thanks for the heads up. I may check them out if I think I can justify buying any more fish so soon after last week's auction.

Scales still had them Sunday afternoon...and I think cheaper (but don't want to say a price in case I'm horribly mistaken!)
