Sharing C02 between 2 tanks

Post by PaulS »

Yesterday, I started setting up my multi-tank CO2 configuration. To keep things professional looking, I planned to run the tubing inside the walls to an unfinished area of my basement where the shared CO2 tank would reside. After spending a few hours attempting to "fish" a line through the walls, I realized that that wasn't going to work. Enter plan B: I went to Lowes and purchased the self-adhering plastic conduit used to conceal wires and electrical cords. Then I just did a direct run up the wall, across the ceiling, and down the other wall from one tank to the other. It also signicantly reduced the length of the runs and it simplifies the problem of replacing the tubing - should that ever be necessary. It doesn't look too great but it works.

Can you paint the conduit to match the wall? Paint would make it blend in and comouflage it somewhat....

I think I'll try that because my wife thinks the conduit looks really bad.

Could always run the counduit along the baseboard too, instead of over the ceiling... be a lot less conspicous. Hitting a doorway is still okay, run up and around it...
