(I hope the Board doesn't mind)
Jeff's butterfly photos got me thinking (it happens from time to time). Not everyone likes to share photos of their tanks, but maybe folks have some general photos they like to share. I thought it might be nice if we pick a general subject every now and then, and have people post some photos. Can be old photos or you could run out and take some fresh ones. I picked the first subject, bees, because I just happen to have a couple shots . Please feel free to share any of your own photos.
I took this photo with an old manual focus lens

I think it is a great idea and the photos are terrific! It seems that there are number of outstanding photographers in this group. I'm not one of them although I still enjoy the pics!
There must be some connection between photography and planted tanks. Planted tanks are like living photographs... I think I'm getting too deep....

I don't have any bees either, but here are a couple of my butterflies. These photos are very old, taken with a 35 mm camera and regular, run-of-the-mill lens. Photos were scanned into the computer when that technology became available.

Nice photos, but I'm sorry Michael, you're banned from the club. Sheesh, this forum is as much about community as it is plants. Keep it clean, and post in good taste, and you can post whatever you like.... well, until the board of dictators changes their mind.
Really nice pictures! If I get a chance, I'll see what bee photos I've got in the corners of my harddrive.
