Rotala mini type 2

Post by ingg »

I got shipped this on an accident, I'd ordered type 1.

I am very very very glad the guy made the mistake!

This stem is about 3/8" across including leaves, several times larger than type 1.

Type 1 is a gorgeous plant, but one I've found I have to have my nose on the glass of the aquarium to see well. This one really pops from a longer distance... like 24" or so! heeh heeh! Seriously though, large enough to show up in a mornal sized tank without having a cloud of stems.

Dave what is that mossy looking stuff to the left of the second photo??? And those big leaves to the left of that? Is the mossy stuff tied down to something? Nice. :)

The mossy stuff is the Fissedens moss I was trying to get people to bid on in the auction on Saturday. The other plant is staghorn java fern. (I'm assuming you don't mean the anubius plant)

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

Yikes, another name!

That java fern has been in a couple acutions with the name Trident. I like the staghorn name too!

It is a rare one that got brought back for Gwapa when folks went to ECU.

Moss if fissidens fontanus, exactly.
